The State of Vermont is mandating that small businesses provide a retirement savings plan to their employees or opt-into a state-run plan: Vermont Saves.

If you have been in business for at least two years and have 5 or more full-time W-2 employees, this applies to you. 

The deadline to certify you have your own plan OR enroll in the Vermont Saves plan is March 1, 2025.
